1. Set up your Books
Bookkeepers Plus will set-up your business in our accounting system (QuickBooks). This set-up process involves creating and mapping chart of accounts that are specific to your company, allowing you to easily recognize income, expense, asset, and liability accounts. Proper set-up of your books is critical because it serves as the foundation for accurate bookkeeping throughout the year, which in turn allows you and tax professionals to rely on our knowledge of your business for proper tax analysis and preparation at year-end.
2. Sending Information
Bookkeepers Plus works with how you work. Our goal is to minimize your time in gathering and sending us your documents. Therefore, you can choose one of the methods below that best suits your business, and minimizes your involvement:
- If you are nearby (SLC - Ogden area) you can deliver or if arranged we can pickup your paperwork.
- If you have them electronically or you use a scanner, you can scan your documents and attach them to an email or upload them to an online inbox. For payroll, you can simply email your employees' pay information at the end of each pay-period.
